At Super Dog Mobile Grooming, your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are our top priorities. Our policies are designed to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable grooming experience for both you and your pup.
Please take a moment to review the following information before your appointment. All clients are required to read and sign our Grooming Policy Agreement before services begin.
Simple and convenient payment options.
Payment is due at the time of service. Super Dog Mobile Grooming accepts cash, checks, and cards.
Returned checks due to insufficient funds (NSF) will incur a $25 fee, plus any additional fees charged by our bank. No further grooming services will be provided until all outstanding fees have been paid.
Please help us keep every appointment running smoothly.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.
Failure to provide 24 hours' notice or failure to have your pet available at the scheduled appointment time will result in a $50 charge, payable within 7 business days.
For appointments involving multiple pets, clients who decide at the last minute not to have one or more scheduled pets groomed may still be responsible for part or all of the canceled pet's grooming charge.
A $25 trip fee also applies to missed scheduled appointments and must be paid within 7 business days.
Clients are responsible for keeping track of their appointments. As a courtesy, Super Dog will make a reminder phone call one business day before the scheduled appointment.
First-time clients who are not present or do not have their pets available when the groomer arrives may be declined future appointments.
On rare occasions, Super Dog may need to cancel or reschedule due to equipment failure, severe weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will make every effort to contact clients in advance and arrange a new appointment.
Flexible arrival windows for reliable mobile service.
Because we operate a mobile grooming service, appointment times are estimated arrival times rather than exact guarantees.
Please allow a 1–2 hour arrival window for your scheduled appointment.
Our schedule may be affected by traffic, refueling, travel distances, or grooming appointments that take longer than expected.
If we anticipate arriving more than 15 minutes early or late, we may contact you in advance.
Convenient grooming even when you're away.
Super Dog offers a Key on File Service for clients who wish to provide authorized access to their home when they cannot be present.
Clients may provide a house key, garage access code, or another approved method of entry.
With prior authorization, Super Dog can arrive at the scheduled appointment time, access the pet, and complete the grooming service while the client is away.
Clients must leave an approved payment method available.
Important: The original agreement includes a provision concerning responsibility for damage or theft involving the client's home or property during service visits. This provision should be reviewed for compliance with applicable law before being included in the final signed agreement.
Protecting your dog's skin, coat, and comfort.
Excessive matting can cause significant discomfort, skin irritation, and other health concerns. Removing severe mats can be painful, time-consuming, and may increase the risk of grooming-related injuries.
Super Dog will determine whether dematting can be performed safely and humanely.
When dematting is not considered safe or appropriate, a complete shave-down may be necessary. Additional shave-down fees apply.
Clients should understand that shaving a severely matted coat may dramatically change their pet's appearance and expose pre-existing skin conditions.
Closely shaved pets may be more sensitive to sunlight and should be protected from excessive sun exposure until their coats grow back sufficiently.
In some cases, pets may experience temporary behavioral changes, skin irritation, redness, itching, or abrasions following mat removal.
Certain breeds and coat types may not grow back with the same texture or appearance after shaving.
Severe matting can conceal moles, warts, skin folds, moisture, bacterial or fungal conditions, and other skin problems. These conditions can increase the risk of nicks, cuts, or irritation during grooming.
Pets that move unexpectedly during grooming may also be at increased risk of accidental injury from clippers, scissors, or brushes.
Clients acknowledge the risks associated with severely matted coats and are responsible for informing Super Dog of any known skin or coat conditions.
Keeping every grooming appointment safe.
Your dog's health and safety are extremely important to us.
Super Dog requires current rabies vaccination information before grooming services can be performed.
Clients must provide their pet's rabies vaccination expiration date and, upon request, proof of current vaccination.
Current veterinary contact information must also be provided when requested.
A safe environment for every dog and groomer.
Clients must inform Super Dog before scheduling if their dog has a history of biting, aggressive behavior, or other handling concerns.
Super Dog does not accept aggressive dogs for grooming.
If a client's description of their pet's behavior is inaccurate or important behavioral information has been withheld, grooming services may be discontinued, and the client will remain responsible for the full grooming charge.
Clients are responsible for bites or property damage caused by their pets, subject to applicable law.
For the safety of the groomer and the pet, Super Dog reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when a dog cannot be handled safely.
Dogs displaying excessive aggression or severe stress may not be accepted for future grooming appointments.
Extra consideration for dogs who need special care.
Grooming can sometimes be physically or emotionally stressful, particularly for senior dogs and pets with existing medical conditions.
Because these pets may have a higher risk of injury or complications, grooming will prioritize cleanliness, comfort, and safety rather than elaborate styling.
Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions, physical limitations, previous injuries, or health concerns before grooming.
The original agreement includes a limitation of responsibility for injuries involving elderly or health-compromised pets. This provision should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before being used in the final agreement.
Keeping our mobile spa clean and safe.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their pets free from fleas and ticks.
Flea or tick infestations can compromise the cleanliness and safety of our mobile grooming environment.
If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming, Super Dog may administer a flea and tick shampoo treatment in accordance with product instructions.
If an infestation is identified, an additional $75 cleaning and sanitation fee will be charged in addition to the regular grooming fee.
Clients acknowledge that flea and tick products may cause side effects, including allergic reactions, and that treatments are not guaranteed to be 100% effective.
Any treatment will be subject to the pet's condition and applicable product safety instructions.
Your pet's well-being always comes first.
Grooming may occasionally reveal previously unnoticed medical conditions or aggravate existing health concerns.
These conditions may become apparent during or after the grooming appointment and, in some cases, require immediate veterinary attention.
If an emergency occurs, Super Dog will make reasonable efforts to contact the client.
If the client cannot be reached and immediate care is considered necessary, the client authorizes Super Dog to seek veterinary assistance on the pet's behalf.
The client is responsible for associated veterinary expenses, subject to the terms of the signed agreement and applicable law.
Sharing our Super Dogs with the world!
Super Dog may photograph pets before, during, or after grooming appointments.
With the client's authorization, these photographs may be used on the Super Dog website, social media accounts, or in promotional and advertising materials.
Photo and promotional-use consent should be clearly documented, preferably as a separate optional authorization.
Please review and acknowledge our grooming policies.
By signing the Grooming Policy Agreement, the client confirms that they are the legal owner or authorized caregiver of the pet receiving services.
The client acknowledges that they have reviewed and understood Super Dog Mobile Grooming's policies, including payment requirements, scheduling, pet behavior, grooming risks, and emergency procedures.
The client agrees to provide accurate information about their pet's health, behavior, vaccination status, and any conditions that could affect grooming safety.
In the event of an emergency, the client authorizes Super Dog or its designated representative to arrange necessary veterinary care, transportation, or other appropriate assistance when the client cannot be reached.
The client agrees to pay authorized costs associated with emergency veterinary services, boarding, transportation, or other necessary care.
The original agreement also contains broad liability-release and hold-harmless provisions addressing injury, death, property damage, negligence, and pre-existing conditions. These provisions must be reviewed by a Louisiana-qualified attorney before inclusion in the final binding agreement.
By signing, the client acknowledges their understanding of the grooming policies and agrees to the applicable terms and responsibilities.
